A girl I really like, and I want to tell her I like her?

If I like a girl should I tell her. I took her to homecoming, and we talk enough and laugh together a lot. She says I look like zac efron and that I am hot. Problem is I got frustrated and I was a jerk at the end because she was tired and did not want to go to the movie after the dance. I was a jerk. I did not walk her to the door. Now I feel I have failed. Should I tell her I like her. Because I really do. I am not like the most popular of guys either. But she seems to like me. What should I do? I was thinking of taking her to see some lights and telling her there, and how sorry I am. Or is this creepy if it is only a week after? Or what? What should I do?
