Is it wrong that I only consider going out with educated men?

Personality and intellect really grabs my attention and guys who are educated usually have both. I always turn down "buisness men" ( jewelers and barbers etc..) because they are not interesting to speak with. My friends tell me I'm wrong for not giving them a chance.. but I know from experience that I don't enjoy my time with them! I always have alot to say and I need a guy that will carry out a convo with me without me talking to myself..am I wrong?
