Monologue from The Tell Tale Heart.....?

Hi Guys. I�ve got an audition coming up (for drama school) where you are required to do three monologues. One modern, one clical and the third one of your choice. I�ve got the modern and the clical sorted but for the third one I really wanna do something different so I came up with the idea of creating a monologue from Edgar Allan Poe�s ,, The Tell Tale Heart" . I just think it�s such a cool story and a great material to be acted out, lot of emotions (despair, guilt, anger...) Can anyone give me their opinion on this....should I do this or something from a play?
