Name of a song and artist?

I'm trying to find the name of what I believe is an 80's hair band song. The chorus has a very prominent line that goes "can you take me higher" it is a very high male vocal and no it is not anything even remotely close or similar to Creed or U2 so save the time and don't suggest one of those bands.
