Should a Christian divorce?

I have been separated from my husband for nearly 2 months due to his anger and abuse issues. In those 2 months he has not changed. Sure he is not hurting me, but he is making little effort to be a husband and father. We go to weekly therapy and he puts little effort into the homework. He is not reaching out for help. I have prayed and fasted for direction and feel like the Lord is actually telling me it is time to call it quits but I know the Word says we should stay married unless he cheats. I am not sure how to better hear from God. I have fleeced him and he failed that also. I am scared of my 10 year marriage ending since I do not know how I will afford our home and keep of the kids. Please do not respond to this question if you do not know the Lord. No offense just different rules we live by.
