Does she like me? even after...?

Okay, well this girl and I admitted we liked each other last year. One problem, my best friend has liked her since he was like 6. I've liked her for a while now... (i'm 17, she's 16 in august) I was such an @hole, I was afraid to talk to her because she was always around my best friend. after a month of the cold shoulder, she told me she didn't like me anymore, because of how I never talked to her. She's had the biggest crush on me since she was like 8 or something. She used to always stare at me, etc... She's naturally shy, but recently I decided that I'd rather have her, because she already told me many times she doesn't like my best friend, but he won't move on. Lately we've been talking on aim and stuff... We have one cl together, and we talk. My best friend is always there though. She also keeps telling me that she always gets songs stuck in her head... like "Over and Over" by three days grace, and all these other songs with a romantic lyric, that always has something to do with falling for the other person... She gets shy around me still, she won't talk to me much, I asked her to this valentines day thing, and she wants to go with me... *it's kind of like a banquet...* Does she like me? Or is this just "the friend zone?"
